Unique Greek Sage
Unique Greek Sage
About
This strong variety of sage grows wild across the Aegean islands. Its leaves are smaller and thicker than common European sage, with a richer taste and aroma. Sourced from an organic farm in Crete, it’s dried naturally and hand-processed. Just a little goes a long way.
The infusion of Sage has been one of Greece’s most popular herbal teas for centuries. In ancient times, it was considered a sacred tree dedicated to god Apollo. Nowadays, in Crete, it is a widespread belief amongst the locals that they owe their longevity to the herb!
