Wild Thyme Flowers
Wild Thyme Flowers
About
Thymus Capitatus is a thyme variety that grows along Greece’s rocky coasts, turning into a purple-flowered shrub each spring. Its flavor varies depending on where it’s grown. These blossoms are rare and even hard to find in spice shops. Harvesters pick each bloom by hand, using only scissors to keep the aroma fresh and strong.
Floral and tingling, this Thyme is best friends with lemon, garlic, and olive oil. A combination capable of taking plain roasted potatoes to another level. Crush with your fingers before use to release its fragrance. You’ll need 2-3 blossoms per portion.
